About Me
I’m Edu Hernández, a filmmaker and video editor based in Amsterdam.
For the past decade, I’ve been crafting stories that live between the commercial and the cinematic — from major brands to award-winning documentaries.
I’ve worked with clients such as Google, YouTube, Mercedes-Benz, KLM, Nivea, EY, ING, GBM, Money20/20, Gastek, IPPA, the University of Amsterdam, and many others — creating content that blends precision with emotion.
My work has been showcased at some of the world’s leading film festivals, including SXSW (USA), the Netherlands Film Festival (Gouden Kalf nominee), and Docville (Belgium), among others.
Whether it’s a VR documentary like Shelter, a branded campaign, or a fast-paced event highlight, my focus is always the same: to find rhythm, humanity, and honesty in every frame.
Editing, for me, isn’t just a technical process — it’s storytelling at its purest.
I believe great images mean nothing without emotion.
That’s what I aim for — to make people feel something.
Do shit that you love. Always.
